How to Create a Facebook Page for Your Art

One of the most commonly asked questions I get is ‘How do I create a Facebook business page that is separate from my personal page?’ This video will show you how to do that.

Pretty easy right? Should only take you a few minutes. A few things to consider in addition to this video:

  • Add lots of images of your art to your Facebook page
  • Create an update schedule for yourself so that you remember to post to your page regularly and keep people engaged. This will pay off when you really need them to be aware of something that you’re doing

Natasha Wescoat and I recently put together a How to Sell Art on Facebook course. Click here to check it out!

The face of facebook is changing. Now, when post to your page, not everyone is allowed to see it. FB wants you to buy advertizing in order to allow everyone who has signed up for your page to see its content.

@DianeOvercash This has been the case for along time Diane. The same thing happens with your personal profile. Not all of my 1100 Facebook friends see everything I post. Facebook filters with an algorithm.

Thanks Cory….believe it or not, your simplistic approach made this seem so ‘easy’. I really appreciate the visual/ hands on guide. I no longer feel intimated about creating and using a Facebook page to market my work. Blessings:-)
